Abstract
Data-driven approaches are becoming increasingly vital in various fields of the modern world. As a result of this trend, the scope of sociological research is expanding to address the growing demand for data-informed insights. This methodological guide examines the effective utilization of sociological research methods within the context of higher education. It provides a detailed examination of both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, outlining their specific characteristics and the various stages of the research process. Furthermore, the guide offers strategic examples of how these methods can be applied effectively in the quality assurance of higher education.
