Promising Mandarin Cultivars for the Adjara–Guria Region

Methodological recommendations have been prepared and published within the framework of the state scientific grant project for fundamental research of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia, №FR 22-2178, “Study of pests and diseases prevalent in citrus plantations of Adjara–Guria and the establishment of a pathogen collection.”
The recommendations describe the agrobiological and economic characteristics of several promising mandarin cultivars introduced into Georgia. These cultivars have been studied, tested, and recommended for cultivation in the Adjara–Guria region. The presented recommendations are intended to support the rehabilitation of old and depreciated citrus plantations. They will provide substantial assistance to farmers interested in establishing new mandarin orchards or rehabilitating ageing and depreciated ones. In addition, the recommendations will be useful to other individuals interested in citrus crop production.
