Abstract

For modern organizations,  their effective functioning and increasing of the information technologies effectiveness have great importance, which is crucial for the survival of organizations in the competitive struggle. In this regard, the selection of the best method for assessing the effectiveness of the functioning of the organization arises. It is possible to single out one of the methods - BSC (Balanced ScoreCard), which is characterized by its completeness and complexity. It allows assessing the effectiveness of the organization in various directions. However, its implementation is quite difficult due to the complexity of the assessment method. In addition, for successful and effective functioning, processes oriented management of the organization’functioning is also very important, which significantly increases the effectiveness of the organization. In this paper it is discussed the main essence of the BSC method, establishes 4 main stages of its implementation, and lists all the operations that must be carried out at each stage of the method. The business process of each stage is constructed, a business process’ model of one of the stages is presented, and its results are discussed.
