ANALYSIS OF SUBSCRIBERS’ MOBILITY PROCEDURE CHARACTERISTICS AND ALGORITHMS IN HETEROGENEOUS NETWORKS

Abstract

The paper deals with the analysis of subscribers’ mobility procedure characteristics. There is offered an improved algorithm by which it is possible to make faster the mobility procedure between different radio access technologies, to reduce mobile device power consumption and to minimize congestion in the network.
