Globalization and ways of booking tourist services
Abstract
The article presents the methods of booking tourist products and their relevance in the tourist market of Georgia.
The conducted research confirms the fact that, despite of the global processes taking place in the world, the activities of travel companies have not lost their relevance - Their services replaced by online bookings.
Today, booking of the hotel, air tickets or car rental is available for everyone, it could be made by online – travelers has the opportunity to plan their own vacation.
The aim of the research was to find out which booking method Georgian travelers prefer – service of Travel Company, or different Internet platforms, which showed us that both ways of booking will be in demand for a few more years, therefore, travel companies should try their best, to support modern digital technologies, they should be mobile and should have an option to book all services remotely.
