Abstract

The research paper presents a general overview of green business and green economy, the current issues of the interconnection between biotechnology science and business, and contemporary challenges. It discusses the peculiarities of scientific business development in biotechnology. It provides methods for greening business, as green technology not only ensures environmental protection and high social responsibility but also improves the company’s image and enhances its economic efficiency. The paper examines the role of green technologies in raising ecological awareness among consumers, stimulating the growth in demand for eco-friendly products, ensuring ecological safety of products and services, improving their quality, and developing sustainable production. It also discusses the world’s best green technology companies, their achievements, and key characteristics. The role of the STEM concept and the challenges of integrating it into green business are explored. Additionally, the paper addresses the issues of promoting creativity and innovation in STEM teams and the importance of creating a STEM group focused on breakthroughs. Through sharing successful global experiences of cooperation between biotechnology science and business, as well as substantiating the peculiarities and multifaceted effectiveness of green business, the paper aims to raise motivation for business to go green and contribute to creating an ecologically safe environment in the country.
