COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS CONDUCTED BETWEEN VENTILATION CALCULATION METHODS USING CARBON DIOXIDE AND WATER VAPOR ON LIVESTOCK FARMS
Abstract
The study examines the processes of air purifi cation (ventilation) in livestock facilities. It demonstrates the means by which natural and mechanical ventilation can be used to remove various harmful substances from the air, particularly carbon dioxide, water vapor, and others. For this purpose, different methods of air exchange (rates of air replacement) are reviewed. The study describes the calculation of the amount of carbon dioxide and water vapor emitted by animals. A comparative analysis of the results obtained using these methods is then conducted, and the potential applications of these methods for air purifi cation are outlined.
