Abstract

The article explores the impact of digital transformation on modern industrial processes and its significance in both global and Georgian contexts. The study is based on a literature review and case analysis, examining digital initiatives implemented by leading international companies such as Siemens, General Electric, and Bosch. The findings demonstrate that digital transformation enhances efficiency, flexibility, and product quality in enterprises while reducing technical and operational risks. In the Georgian context, the main challenges identified include limited financial resources, a shortage of qualified personnel, and low levels of cybersecurity awareness. The paper concludes that digital transformation represents a strategic opportunity for Georgian enterprises, whose success depends on technological investment, human capital development, and organizational adaptability.
